Harford Community College is one of seven Maryland community colleges that will begin offering specialized training classes for employees of construction companies that plan to work on sensitive or secure sites included in the U.S. Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) initiative. HCC is offering training for workers who need specific skills for the construction and retrofit contracts designated by the federal government as Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs).
