It's Time for an Olde-Fashioned Fourth of July in Bel Air!

Bel Air -- The Bel Air Independence Day Committee invites all to join in a tradition-filled, "Olde-Fashioned Fourth of July" in downtown Bel Air this Saturday!   

The day starts off with a ceremonial flag-raising at Bel Air High School at 6:45 a.m., featuring Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 30 and American Legion Post #39, and a musical accompaniment. The Bel Air Independence Day Committee announces that there are still a few openings available for participation in the Saturday, July 4 Independence Day Parade through the Town of Bel Air.

(Bel Air, Maryland)  Harford County Public Library is honored to welcome former U.S. Army Captain Luis Carlos Montalván and his service dog, Tuesday, to share their story at the Library’s Bel Air Branch at 6:30 p.m. April 21.

Capt. Montalván never backed down from a challenge during his two tours of duty in Iraq. Like many service members, Capt. Montalván honorably departed the military as a result of physical and psychological wounds. The war continued for him until a highly trained golden retriever named Tuesday entered his life.
