Rescue Me! at Harford Mall Closing After 2 Years

Humane Society of Harford County will continue uniting pets and people at new shelter in Fallston   

Fallston, MD – At the end of June, after nearly two years in operation and 481 cat adoptions, The Humane Society of Harford County (HSHC) will close its satellite adoption center at Harford Mall.  The closure is due to the opening of HSHC’s new state-of-the-art shelter in Fallston scheduled for the end of this year. Mother's Day Festival of Flowers at Bel Air United Methodist Church

The Mother’s Day Festival of Flowers will be held on Saturday, May 9 at Bel Air United Methodist Church, 21 Linwood Avenue, 9AM-2:30PM. A used book sale, including thousands of books, DVDs, puzzles and CDs, takes place Friday, March 6; Saturday, March 7 and Sunday, March 8 at the Bel Air Branch of the Harford County Public Library. Local Auto Repair Shop Helps Put the Brakes on Breast Cancer


 Joppa-based auto repair shop First Choice Automotive will offer free brake pads and donate 10% of every brake service performed in the month of October to support breast cancer vaccine research.

Volunteers Sought for Harford County Wine Festival at Rockfield Manor

(Bel Air, MD) - - Organizers of the Harford County Wine Festival at Rockfield Manor in Bel Air are seeking volunteers to assist with this year’s event. The Wine Festival will be held on Saturday, September 28 from noon to 6:00 pm, although volunteers would need to arrive earlier if they are providing first shift coverage. 
 
“We are celebrating our eighth year,” stated Rockfield Board Member Donna Dickey. “There is no better way to spend a Saturday in September than on the beautiful grounds of Rockfield Manor at the Harford County Wine Festival.
