Volunteers Sought for Harford County Wine Festival at Rockfield Manor

(Bel Air, MD) - - Organizers of the Harford County Wine Festival at Rockfield Manor in Bel Air are seeking volunteers to assist with this year’s event. The Wine Festival will be held on Saturday, September 28 from noon to 6:00 pm, although volunteers would need to arrive earlier if they are providing first shift coverage. 
 
“We are celebrating our eighth year,” stated Rockfield Board Member Donna Dickey. “There is no better way to spend a Saturday in September than on the beautiful grounds of Rockfield Manor at the Harford County Wine Festival. Havre de Grace Unveils Exhibits for the Star Spangled 200 Banner Trail

The City of Havre de Grace will kick off the Maryland State Chesapeake Campaign the first weekend in May 2013 with a three day festival marking the 200th year of prosperity since they were ransacked and burned by the British.
 
In 1813 Havre de Grace was a small fishing village; and with Post Road traversing through town, was a major source of land travel. The taverns and ferry made Havre de Grace, originally called Susquehanna Lower Ferry, a vibrant town in the early 19th century. Read more...

SARC Holds Third Annual Hot-Air Balloon Festival with Family Fun Day, Balloon Glow Gala

BEL AIR, MD - On Saturday, March 3 the Bel Air Downtown Alliance will be celebrating their 11th Annual Chocolate & Candy Festival at the Bel Air Reckord Armory in Downtown Bel Air from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Admission for the event is just $5.00. Each paid admission will receive four FREE sample tickets allowing them to sample from our chocolatiers, candy makers, and sweet treat merchants.
