Smithsonian’s Journey Stories Youth Exhibition Opens at Hosanna School Museum

Two exhibitions, Divergence: Pathways of African Americans in Harford County” and “Lost & Found: the Forgotten Communities of APG,” the Smithsonian Journey Stories Youth Oral History Project, will open at Hosanna School Museum on June 2, 2012 from 11 AM – 4 PM.

Divergence: Pathways of African Americans in Harford County” explores the varying life journeys of African Americans in Harford County—from the free to the enslaved. “Lost & Found: The Forgotten Communities of APG,” the first of several Smithsonian Journey Stories Youth Oral History Projects in Maryland, captures the stories of farmers and families who migrated out of the area currently occupied by Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG).
