Bel Air, MD – The Susquehanna Symphony Orchestra is really moving in March! On March 6 they will perform American Music at Bel Air High School starting at 7:30 p.m.
The evening will begin with one of John Philip Sousa’s favorite marches, “The Fairest of the Fair”. Next, will be a piece by William Grant Still, known as the dean of African –American composers. His “Afro-American Symphony” is the most performed American symphony in the world. Lincoln University Provost, Dr. Grant D. Venerable will lead each movement with poems by Paul Laurence Dunbar.
