(Bel Air, MD) - - The Harford County Department of Community Services Commission on Disabilities will mark the 19th Anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) at its meeting on July 27th at 5:00 p.m. at the historic “Bel Air Colored High School.” The public is invited to attend. The ADA, which was signed into law by President George H.W. Bush on July 26, 1990, is a civil rights law that prohibits, under certain circumstances, discrimination based on disability. Read more...
