Library Room Dedicated to Veronica “Roni” Chenowith

Harford County Public Library dedicated its Abingdon Branch meeting room in the honor of Veronica “Roni” Chenowith at a gathering on May 21, 2009. “This afternoon we are dedicating the Abingdon Branch Meeting Room in memory of Roni Chenowith, a wonderful woman, a great colleague, a dear friend, someone we all really miss,” began Audra Caplan, Library Director, in her speech to a room full of people there to remember Roni. “I know Roni would be pleased that the meeting room will carry her name as many children, families and community groups use the room.
