The Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN) announced the winners of the 13th annual Mariel C. Furlong Award for Making a Difference. The winner in the school nurse category was Debra Kauffman, school nurse at Fountain Green Elementary School. Mrs. Kauffman, R.N. is being honored with the award in recognition of her continued efforts as a school nurse to advocate for children with food allergies. Read more...
