Chesapeake Heritage Conservancy, Inc. is pleased to announce that on December 12, 2008 the National Parks Service entered the Skipjack Martha Lewis on the National Register of Historic Places.
The nomination process took 3 years to complete; the first step was to be approved by the Maryland Historic Trust. Once approval from the state was obtained the nomination was forwarded to the National Parks Service for review and determination. Read more...
