Havre de Grace, MD - Chesapeake Heritage Conservancy
is pleased to announce that a loblolly pine has been located to replace the mast
on the historical Skipjack Martha Lewis.
The loblolly was located by the Paul Jones Lumber Company in Snow
Hill, Maryland. Harvested in Virginia it is currently debarked in Snow Hill as
transportation arrangements are made for moving it to Havre de Grace where it
will be shaped into the new mast for the Martha Lewis. Read more...
