Bluegrass Legend Ralph Stanley in Benefit for John Carroll School

Ralph Stanley and the Clinch Mountain BoysRalph Stanley and the Clinch Mountain Boys will appear at Looney’s Pub North, 312 S. Main Street in Bel Air on Sunday, August 10 at 4:00 p.m. in a benefit performance for The John Carroll School.


The Grammy award winning patriarch of traditional and bluegrass music has been performing since 1946 and recently saw a surge in popularity due to his contributions to the 2002 movie O Brother Where Art Thou. Stanley has recorded over 170 albums and at 81 years of age still performs more than 150 dates a year. In 2006, he was presented the National Medal of Arts Honor by President George Bush.
