Fallston High School art teacher Andrea Sauer wrote a grant that
was funded by Target to pay for a two-week residency for Fallston High art
students to learn how to use large table looms to create three hanging weaving
installations.
The
three hangings – one 8’, one 5’ and one 3’ – will be hung in the school’s
stairwell that goes up to the second floor outside the art room. In addition,
all students created another weaving on a smaller scale that was then stuffed
with cotton batting so the effect is a 3-D wall hanging. Read more...
