HCPS recently
partnered with the Harford County Department of Planning and Zoning to complete
a stream buffer restoration at the campus of Patterson Mill Middle and High
School. The project is funded through a Stream Restoration Challenge Grant
through the Maryland Department of Natural Resources and is headed up by Harford
Glen and the Planning and Zoning Department.
One
hundred-twenty 7th grade students assisted with the planting of 400 native
species of trees as service learning project. The Bel Air Home Depot provided
