Stream Restoration Challenge Grant at Patterson Mill Middle/High School

HCPS recently partnered with the Harford County Department of Planning and Zoning to complete a stream buffer restoration at the campus of Patterson Mill Middle and High School. The project is funded through a Stream Restoration Challenge Grant through the Maryland Department of Natural Resources and is headed up by Harford Glen and the Planning and Zoning Department.
 
One hundred-twenty 7th grade students assisted with the planting of 400 native species of trees as service learning project. The Bel Air Home Depot provided tools and volunteers to assist with the project. Read more...
