Poet Laureate Professor Stanley Plumly to Visit HCC

In celebration of National Library Week and National Poetry Month, the Harford Community College Library and the Harford County Cultural Arts Board are sponsoring a visit by Maryland’s Poet Laureate Professor Stanley Plumly at Harford Community College, Student Center, Room 243, on Monday, April 15, at 2 PM. Light refreshments will be provided.

 

The Poet Laureate is an eminent poet, selected by the governor, for a four-year term. His or her role is to provide public readings for the citizens of Maryland. Stanley Plumly is Maryland’s 9th Poet Laureate. Read more...
