Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna to Break Ground on The House That Bel Air Built

(Bel Air, MD) – On Friday, February 15 at noon, Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna (HHS) will break ground on its latest project at 404 Giles Street. This is the first home to be constructed in Bel Air by Habitat, whose mission is to build simple, decent affordable homes in partnership with qualifying low-income families.

HHS, now in its 20th year, has built 69 homes to date across Harford and Cecil counties, but never in Bel Air. High land costs have primarily kept the organization out of Bel Air. Thanks to the generosity of Harford County Government, The Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the Town of Bel Air, this home will finally become a reality. Read more...
