One of
only 11 Future Farmers of America (FFA) members from the state of Maryland, HCPS
graduate Kelly Kundratic was bestowed the American FFA Degree during the
National FFA Convention. To qualify for this award, Kelly had to maintain
records for more than six years on her supervised agricultural experience
program in Veterinary Science. Most of her experience was working for the Bel
Air Veterinary Hospital on Tollgate Road in Bel Air as a kennel assistant. Her
other duties in this role included prepping rooms for surgery and assisting in
clinical and laboratory procedures. Kelly also had to provide leadership
experience where she served as the State FFA President in
