Come to a Downtown Christmas Celebration!

Havre de Grace's First Friday December 5, 2008

Havre de Grace Main Street invites everyone to kick off the Holiday Season by coming to First Friday on December 5. The fun starts at 6:00 pm when the Christmas Parade will begin at North Washington Street and Congress Avenue. The Havre de Grace High School Band will play while Santa rides atop a Susquehanna Hose Company Fire Truck. The Parade will proceed to the City's beautifully decorated Christmas Tree at Rochambeau Plaza (beside the Masonic Temple). At 6:30 pm, after Santa comes down from the Fire Truck, Santa will help the Mayor flip the switch to magically turn on the Christmas Tree lights. Read more...
