Volunteers Needed for The Historical Society of Harford County, Inc.

The Historical Society of Harford County, Inc. is looking for volunteers to assist in several capacities. We have three research departments:

Archives consists of a large collection of original documents, such as diaries, day books, wills, plats, and photographs. Archives hours are Wednesdays 8 AM to 2 PM.

Court Records consists of old court records of trials and other court actions from Harford County’s early days. Court records hours are Tuesdays 10 AM to 2:30 PM.

Research Library houses a large collection of Harford County and Maryland books and family genealogies, also maps, newspaper clippings, cemetery records, marriage and death records. Research Library hours are Thursdays 9 AM to 3 PM. Read more...
