Chart your own course with the Maryland Basic Boating Certification at Harford Community College. Study types of vessels, navigational aids, marine weather, regulations, emergency actions, and maneuvering in the water. Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certification card. This course meets the Maryland Boating Safety Education Act requirement for persons born after July 1, 1972 to operate a registered pleasure vessel on Maryland waters. Read more...
