The Maryland Humanities Council in partnership with the Maryland State Department of Education have launched a statewide initiative to engage in an examination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s legacy and race relations in our communities. In response to this initiative, MSDE is showcasing the artwork of Maryland students in a traveling exhibition. This artwork was produced by K through 12 public and private art students and is based upon Dr. King’s Six Principles of Non-Violence. Read more...
